to see what it means for us today
The brazen altar was the first object to be seen after entering the gate of the Outer Court. It was used for sacrificing offerings made by fire.
The altar was made out of acacia wood overlaid with brass. It was 5 cubits long, 5 cubits wide, and 3 cubits high. There were also dishes used with the brazen altar. The dishes were made of solid brass.
The SAVIOR was the Lamb of Yahweh who died upon the cross. The Hebrews brought their sacrifices once a year for their sin offerings, but the SAVIOR only had to be sacrificed one time for our sins. His death upon the cross was for everyone that lives, that have died, and for everyone yet to be born.
He died on the day of Passover and rose again on the third day. Now we take communion once a year on the day of Passover.
When we accept the SAVIOR into our hearts, we have come to the brazen altar. the SAVIOR is the Savior of the whole world and he will draw all men unto himself.
